- Saint Ephraim Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The above link for St. Ephraim Center is to connect you to a compassionate team of Christian mental health care practitioners who serve those who live with addictions and other challenges that put them at risk for declining mental health. St. Ephraim Center is a first-of-its-kind, Orthodox Christian treatment center based in Colorado. They offer addiction and mental health treatment, mental health nutrition services, as well as addiction and mental health education. The Center supports and strengthens the Orthodox Church through education and effective, Christ-centered addictions treatment for Orthodox clergy and laity. With growing services and nationally recognized staff, they are here to help serve the unique needs of Orthodox Christians, some of whom often feel marginalized by their own faith community. This is often true with people who have family members that are differently abled as well as those families who have loved ones with mental illness or addiction. Marginalization can also happen to people who silently or not so silently identify as LGBTQ+ and have chosen to learn more about Orthodox Christianity or have returned to the church after leaving for a period of time. Any marginalization of people seeking Christ is not loving, kind nor faithful to Christ’s command for us to Love our Neighbor.
